Our Tec Guy ERN
BB pouch are made by him they are made for british DPM material and all seams are double stiched for strenth and can be made to hold how ever many you want, the average pouch will hold just over 3000 BBs
it has a soft plastic top with a screw cap so long gone are the days of rattling when you move
a good buy as i have seen some shops selling them for £5.00 P&P
i give them a rating of 10 out of 10 as i have never had a problem with one

G&P Aimpoint + OD Rubber Shell.

Well, I orderd one of these a while ago and had people asking what they are like.

So I thought I would do a little review.

Came well packaged, lots of padding inside the box, the Aimpoint is metal and mine came with a L type mount. Batteries are allready inside and was ready to go. it also comes with Flip up rear and front caps, very nice for keeping the lenses clean.

Attached the mount and put the rubber shell on, the shell has what look like rails on it, however I wouldnt attach anything to it as they dont look very sturdy. There is also a slight reflection from the dot, but for what I paid im not fussed, its barely noticable anyway.

I attached the Aimpoint to my gun and found a little wobble from the mount, after 20 mins of trying to figure out the problem I found it was just needing tightend up... Quite a lot. No more wobble... yay!

The Aimpoint has two brightness settings and two colour settings (red/green). Brightness isnt too much to notice, but I reckon at night its more noticable.

In all its a good buy, for less than £25 from Ebay. Coupled with a 3x FTS magnifier and its perfect.

If anyone wants to have a closer gander, give me a shout at game days and your welcome to have a play.

I will post up some pics later on this week.

Steve

PostSubject: MOSFET!   GUN ACCESSORIES EmptyMon Jan 18, 2010 1:43 am

I got a anti braking mosfet of our tech guy ERN for my D-boys scar and i can say i put 8000 bb's through it at freeport on the 17th jan and it works awesome.

i thought the ratio of battery was firing 1 bb to ma but i fired roughly 6000 bb's before i changed the battery which was a mini 1500ma on the scar so i feel its extended the battery life as well.

if your thinking of getting 1 just p.m ERN im sure he will help you and its worth every penny.

THE COST OF THE MOSFET WAS £40 (BARGAIN) Very Happy ERN fits the mosfet as well at a cost of £20 but if your like me and dont know much of eternals its well worth paying the extra.

the rate of fire has gone up with the mosfet which use to be 9 a second now its doing 11 a second thats part of the mosfet as well.

im sure the interest in these mosfets will grow as he has got to do some more research and development in other styles of mosfets which will do even more clever things to your guns so keep an eye on the forum or any other information just P.M ERN and im sure he will be able to help. Very Happy

cheers ERN Very Happy

The fet may get warm but the fets are heat sinked to the circuit board and if they do get too hot to trip the temperature sensitive fuses you will have a problem with your gearbox. As I have tested them you will have @ 50 to 60 degrees C spare even after a long burst. I have one fitted to my M249 for the last 6 months and it has not got warm even firing long bursts at Catrick where i went through 10K rounds through the gun in 3/4 hour Keeping the scots heads down. Wink
